I tried affiliate marketing for 3 days using Google Ads and a review website to promote GetResponse, an email marketing and automation platform. In this video, I’m sharing my experience of running an affiliate marketing campaign, testing paid advertising, building a review website, and trying to generate affiliate commissions.

Affiliate marketing is often promoted as one of the easiest ways to make money online, but how easy is it actually? Can someone promote an affiliate product using Google Ads and start making money within just 3 days? That’s exactly what I wanted to test through this experiment.

For this challenge, I selected GetResponse, a popular email marketing platform that offers an affiliate program. Instead of relying on organic traffic, social media, or an existing audience, I decided to experiment with Google Ads to attract potential customers who were already searching for email marketing tools.

I also used a review website to promote GetResponse. The idea was simple: attract targeted visitors through Google Ads, send them to a website where they could learn more about the product, and encourage interested users to sign up through my affiliate link.

Throughout these 3 days, I explored how affiliate marketing works with paid traffic, how to approach keyword targeting, and how a review website can help potential customers make purchasing decisions.

In this video, you’ll get to see my experience with the entire process, including selecting an affiliate product, setting up the promotional strategy, using Google Ads, and understanding the challenges involved in generating affiliate sales.

One of the biggest misconceptions about affiliate marketing is that you can simply pick a product, run advertisements, and immediately start earning passive income. In reality, there are several important factors involved, including advertising costs, competition, conversion rates, landing page quality, and the commission structure of the affiliate program.

This experiment was also an opportunity to understand whether promoting software products through affiliate marketing is a practical business model for beginners and whether paid advertising can be a sustainable source of affiliate traffic.

If you’re interested in making money online, affiliate marketing for beginners, Google Ads affiliate marketing, SaaS affiliate programs, or building affiliate review websites, this video will give you a practical look at what goes into testing an affiliate marketing campaign.

I’ll also discuss the lessons I learned during this short experiment and the things I would consider before running similar campaigns in the future.

Remember, affiliate marketing is a real business model, not a guaranteed way to make quick money. Results depend on your strategy, budget, experience, and the products you’re promoting. A three-day experiment cannot establish long-term profitability, but it can reveal useful insights about traffic acquisition and customer behavior.
